Miss Universe host apologizes for mis announcing winner
Steve Harvey faced swift backlash after declaring Miss Colombia the winner of Miss Universe on Fox then crowning Philippines contestant Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. He apologized on air and via Twitter as Colombia’s president and supporters criticized the error. The pageant drew 6.2 million US viewers on Fox.
