Mother allegedly fakes cancer for donations in Urbana

Police say Teresa Milbrandt pretended 7 year old Hannah had leukemia to solicit over $10,000 from locals and businesses. Hannah was given sleeping pills, shaved hair, and told she had chemotherapy. the child is now in relatives’ custody. Milbrandt, husband Robert, and another person are under investigation with no charges filed.
