AGM Tamale and Tortilla Factory Keeps Christmas Tamales Flowing
AGM Tamale and Tortilla Factory prepares its final regular season batch, churns over 1,040 dozen tamales in a two day span, and approaches its 60th anniversary. Founder Antonio Saucedo started the business in 1954 and left it to Victoria Saucedo, later leased to Luis Navarrete who expanded from counter service to a dining room and drive through. Evidence of long family involvement includes Navarrete, her grandson Moya Jr., and Hector Moya Sr., with community ties spanning decades in West Texas.
