Odessa area burglaries and thefts reported in recent blotter
A series of burglaries and thefts were reported across Odessa and nearby blocks. Incidents include a 2100 block West Seventh Street assault report, a storage building break at 3100 Eisenhower Road, a warehouse theft at Surplus City, and a Maple Avenue business break in with a flat screen TV. Other entries note damage to front windows, vehicle and home break-ins, and debit card abuse. An Odessa man was arrested for possession of cocaine and marijuana after a traffic stop on West 33rd Street. A local Lowe’s at 202 E Eighth Street reported thefts including NY strip steaks, a battery charger, a camera, and jewelry.
