Paralyzed Missy Jenkins stays hopeful after Heath High shooting
Missy Jenkins, paralyzed from the chest down, remains upbeat as doctors say walking again is unlikely. The Heath High School rampage killed three classmates and wounded eight others, with 14 year old Michael Carneal facing adult charges. Missy’s room blooms with balloons and cards as she speaks of staying determined to walk someday while her family and community seek solace and justice.
