Packers lineman Charles Martin apologizes after tavern incident
Green Bay AP report says Charles Martin settled a dispute with a 500 dollar payment after allegedly grabbing a 26 year old woman and throwing a drink at her in a tavern. The Open Records file notes a lunch meeting at the Packers’ office and a personal check to cover ruined clothing. District Attorney Nate says the act could be fourth degree sexual assault but no charges were filed and the case is closed. A separate Brown County small claims suit seeks 917.07 dollars from Martin.
