Ector County OKs Census Addresses Update Vote
Ector County commissioners narrowly approved participating in the 2010 Decennial Census Local Update of Census Addresses on a 2-1 vote. Barbara Graffand and Armando Rodriguez supported. Greg Simmons opposed with Freddie Gardner abstaining as chair in County Judge Susan Redford's absence. The move aims to secure federal funds. A committee will be named after year’s start. county attorney was asked to refer Otis Allen litigation to outside counsel.

Midland woman sentenced to federal prison nine years nine months
