DAR Christmas Program Weaves History and Home Traditions
Members of the DAR heard a program by Mrs. Thomas Elrod titled Christmas for The Story of Christmas, tracing holiday observances from colonial times to the American Revolution and noting the evolution from spiritual feasts to festive customs. The next meeting will be January 6 hosted by Mrs. Luther B. Bitner and co hostesses with Dr. Dorothy Wyzell of Midland slated to discuss Citizenship USA. Black and white fashion notes conclude the column.
