Japan sends six ton cargo capsule to space station
Japan launched the Komotori cargo capsule carrying nearly 5 tons of food water and supplies to the International Space Station from Tanegashima. The shipment follows a Russian loss and NASA supplier grounding raising urgency as astronauts prepare for spacewalks to swap old batteries. The ISS crew led by Thomas Pesquet says a safe arrival is welcomed while Peggy Whitson stresses continuing rigorous tests and perseverance.
