Giles Refunds State in Two Civil Rulings

Former Texas Land Commissioner Basco Giles signed a $15,000 check after the state won two civil judgments worth about $75,000 in total. A $33,000 judgment plus interest was awarded in Crystal City and a $41,010 judgment plus interest in Austin.
