Rig count drops to 737 as Baker Hughes reports weekly decline

Baker Hughes Inc. says U S rigs exploring oil and natural gas fell seven this week to 737, with 545 targeting oil and 192 for natural gas. A year ago 1,920 rigs were active. Louisiana down four, Texas down three, North Dakota off two, and declines also seen in Oklahoma and Colorado.
