Christmas saves Northeastern greenhouse with sales plan
Northeastern University in Woburn faced cutting its expensive greenhouse. The facility now sustains itself by selling Christmas trees, poinsettias, and other plants during the holidays while continuing research and education. Business manager Kevin Mautte notes the need to treat the greenhouse as a business proposition, though education remains its core purpose.
