Mormon study upends expectations on BYU families
BYU professors Dyer and Kunz studied over 200 Mormon families across Texas and seven other states to describe effective family dynamics. The report notes strong faith and unity, high church activity, affection, work ethic, and parental example, yet finds few daily scriptures or prayers, looser discipline, and fewer missionary backgrounds than expected.
