Kermit Yellow Jackets Advance To State 3A Semifinals
Kermit edged Littlefield 21 14 to reach the state 3A football semifinals. Quarterback Jerry Wright engineered a late 17 yard bootleg score and Alvaro Martinez led the ground attack as Kermit built a 95 yard 16 play march. Littlefield had tied the game late but the defense and a late interception sealed the win.
