Voters decide on parks hospital and paving in Odessa election
In Odessa and Ector County voters face a 1 750 000 mixed ballot for three propositions. The plan funds a 100 bed four story Medical Center Hospital expansion and remodeling plus a parks program with pools and recreation sites for Southeast Odessa and other areas. Paving projects along Golder Dixie Ken dy and Old Crane Highway create a by pass around south Odessa. Proponents say the plan does not raise taxes as oil firms cover most local taxes. Polling places include precincts and county facilities across Odessa and nearby communities.
