Man who killed Oswald called a wonderful man by former nightclub worker
Bobbie Lee Meserole, 52, a former stripper at Jack Ruby’s Dallas club, says Ruby was a misunderstood “wonderful man” deserving a monument as she prepares a book to set the record straight. She recalls he was kind to the girls and hopes for burial closure.

Giant tricycle atop Abilene museum sparks curiosity
Throckmorton artist Joe Barrington built a fully functional over sized tricycle weighing half a ton and placed it on the Abilene Fine Arts Museum roof. The 19 foot nephew friendly toy cost under 300 to build with duties paid for by parts from a junkyard. Barrington values the piece at 7995 and hopes to brighten Christmas as Randall Hayes promotes the annual miniature show.
