Court overturns home knit work ban by Donovan
A federal appeals court in Washington ruled Labor Secretary Donovan acted arbitrarily in lifting a 40 year ban on home work in knitted outerwear. The case, brought by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, claims the change would hurt factory employers and wages.
