Basin Disposal Hires Lawyer In Pit Dump Lawsuit
Basin Disposal Inc has engaged Austin attorney Mark Mayfield to defend against a lawsuit filed by Daniel Ray accusing open pit dumping at Pleasant Farms since April 2011. The site allegedly contains trash and containers with hazardous materials and sits over multiple aquifers. Co owner Mike Valenzuela says the company backs county cleanup and will start action after legal results, while warning residents not to trespass.
