Odessa Salvation Army honors community heroes at fundraising banquet
The Salvation Army in Odessa hosts a fundraising banquet with regional leaders pointing to a matching grant to convert the shelter into a livable temporary home. Odessa heroes include Congressman K Michael Conaway and CBS-7 anchor Tatum Hubbard, along with longtime volunteers Stan Smith and Kenny Ogata. The event highlights the Angel Tree program run with UTPB groups and City of Odessa staff, the Empty Stocking Fund, and corporate support from TXU.
