Thank heavens for Evans Fundraiser saves mechanic
In Eureka Springs Arkansas villagers rallied to help Larry Evans a longtime charitable mechanic facing business trouble. A February fundraiser at 1886 Crescent Hotel raised 1200 for a new shop site and a gravel approach as volunteers pledged to rebuild his garage after a store above his lot harmed his image. The event drew about 400 attendees and featured music dancing and a festive mood.
