Desegregation unitary status hearing set for ECISD
The Tri Ethnic Committee heard an update on ECISD desegregation efforts and approved a new ethnicity change policy. ECISD must file a legal brief by June 30 to seek unitary status, MALDEF and DOJ have 30 days to respond, with a hearing set for 4 p.m. on November 29 before U.S. Judge Bob Junell.
