NASA aims to launch Columbia for Astro observatory science
After weeks of fuel leaks NASA plans a late week lift for Columbia to deploy the $150 million Astro observatory. Seven astronauts will begin a nine to ten day mission to study high energy ultraviolet light and X rays from stars galaxies quasars and more. The return to flight follows prior shuttle delays and grounding after the Challenger disaster.
