Judge orders separate trials in Clinton lake drownings
In Clinton Illinois a judge ruled Amanda Hamm and Maurice LaGrone Jr will be tried separately for the nine counts of first degree murder tied to the drownings of Hamm’s three children in Clinton Lake on Sept 2 2003. The trials will move to another county and venue changes are under consideration.

Cab driver dies after Las Vegas fire attack during robbery
Pairo Chitprasart, 51, died Tuesday three days after being burned over 70 percent of his body in an attempted robbery. James Scholl, 33, is to be charged with murder after a Saturday arrest following police say he bragged about the attack. Chitprasart drove a cab to supplement his income from a Thai newspaper he ran and picked up Scholl outside a strip club.
