Ear-lopping kidnapper arrested in Mexico City
Daniel Arizmendi Lopez known as the ear lopper was captured after a nine month manhunt. He admitted killing up to three accomplices and described using butcher’s shears to cut victims ears with relatives told to pay ransom. Prosecutors say 39 accomplices and several officers face charges in the wave of abductions.
