Three Odessa youths were injured when their car went out of control and rolled four times on the Andrews Highway east of Odessa. Jo Ann Worris 15 Wanda Cherry 16 and Larry Criswell 14 were admitted to Medical Center Hospital with back injuries and a shoulder injury. An unidentified boy received emergency care for a split lip and was released. Miss Cherry was listed as the driver.

Alice Judge Woodrow Laughlin testified that he believed Texas Rangers could not lawfully serve subpoenas for grand jury witnesses in Duval County.
