Porsche 718 Boxster debuts with turbo four cylinders and updates
Redesigned for 2017 the 718 Boxster honors the Porsche 718 RSK legacy with a revised mid engine Cayman sibling also adopting the 718 badge. Turbcharged four cylinders replace sixes delivering 300 hp base and 350 hp in S form. Transmission choices include six speed manual or seven speed PDK with 4.9 second zero to sixty (4.7 with PDK) for base and 4.4 (4.2 with PDK) for the S. Options include sport exhaust, ceramic brakes, wood trim and upgraded leather sport seats.
