Nelson Peltz's Trian Fund disclosed a 7.08 percent stake in Sysco making it the largest shareholder. The hedge fund says Sysco has underperformed and has met with CEO William Delaney to discuss changes. Sysco confirmed talks and plans to outline strategic initiatives next month as shares rose to 41.04. Trian previously pushed PepsiCo to split units and urged DuPont to break up.
