BVISD seeks students to avoid closure and loss of funding
BVISD superintendent Dillard and principal Dulaney placed an ad outlining survival through enrollment. With 120 students, the 350 capacity district fears closure if enrollment drops below 90, risking loss of $700,000 to $800,000 annually and shifting funds to state. The district touts a modern lab, large auditorium, and bused Odessa access while courting transfers.
