ECISD weighs funding Delphi housing project in Odessa
Craig Alter urged the Ector County ISD board to invest 3.25 million dollars in a 48 acre affordable housing development on 87th Street, to be co developed by Delphi Affordable Housing Group. The plan would include 400 units with 100 reserved for district staff, with rents kept under market by up to 2 percent annually and construction to start in November with occupancy in September 2016. The board debated funding levels while also addressing tax rate, interlocal CIS agreement, literacy efforts, asset disposal, UIL eligibility, and governance matters.
