Brand New Opree marks 30 years of variety show
The Globe's longest running act celebrates its third decade with a four hour show featuring a melody medley of country gospel rockabilly and rock n roll. Notables include James Whitmire Barry S and Bill Provance the longtime king of Opree music. The event also highlights founder memories and past acts as Wanda Snodgrass recalls the show began as a fund raiser for the theater. Doors open at 6 pm with advance tickets $7 and $8 at the door.
