Engineers Sweat for Space Water Recycling Test
Boeing and NASA engineers at Marshall Space Flight Center test a water reclamation system for the planned Space Station Freedom. The crew recycles shower, dish and laundry water plus urine and sweat to recover over 90 percent of used water. In August the first drinking-water taste tests will compare recycled water to tap water.
