Gerardo Martinez of 1208 Harris St was arrested on a $50,000 bond for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after chasing Levi Chaparro with a knife during a work-site dispute at Permian Enterprises 2900 Sargent Ave. Chaparro reported fearing for his life and called 911 as Martinez pursued him. arrest occurred around 2 32 p m Wednesday at the Ector County Detention Center records show.
