Dell declares global operations carbon neutral
Dell says its worldwide facilities are now carbon neutral, offsetting remaining power use with renewable energy credits and efficiency upgrades. The Round Rock company buys direct wind solar and methane energy for about one fifth of needs, with the rest offset. Dell aims to greener product design and more electronics recycling.
