Plaque honors Texas man seeks new home
Officials search for a family to receive a plaque dedicated to Homer M. Bradford of New Braunfels. The memorial, once on a pillar of the Interstate 35 Guadalupe River bridge, was removed during a widening project and now sits in a TxDOT office as the chamber weighs its fate. Bradford, a gypsum plant manager and former chamber president, was honored when I-35 expansion opened in 1960.
