City considers rules on septic tank dumping changes
Odessa officials may require pre-treatment of septic loads to protect the city sewer system. About 500 residents inside the city and 2,500 outside would face higher charges to pump tanks. Seven tank cleaners face possible new costs and legal disposal questions as a city pit near the Dixie Street caliche site is slated for conversion to a park.
