Ex British Liberal leader Thorpe charged in murder plot
ex Liberal Party head Jeremy Thorpe and three others were arrested in Minehead, England, on charges of conspiring to murder Norman Scott, 37, the alleged target. The group appeared in Minehead magistrates court and were released on bail with Sept. 12 as the next date. The case ties to a long scandal dating back to Scott’s 16 year old homosexual relationship with Thorpe.
