New Goliad principal aims to build on improvements
Lauren Crane, newly appointed Goliad Elementary principal, plans to boost parent involvement and student attendance after Goliad emerged from improvement required status and reconstitution. She notes outreach to families, teacher contact with parents, and engaging classrooms as core goals, with ECISD attendance incentives and growth in bilingual education. Crane is an Odessa native with ten years at ECISD and previously served as assistant principal at Goliad.
