Arrest Made in Ann Arbor Area Girl Slaying Case
A 23 year old man, John Norman Collins of Ypsilanti, was arrested in the brutal slaying of 18 year old Sue Beineman, among eight young women slain in the Ann Arbor Ypsilanti region in two years. Beineman vanished July 23 and was found last Saturday. she was strangled and battered. Collins resembles the motorcyclist seen with Beineman. Beineman was an EMU freshman. Authorities had solved one earlier death, that of Eee Pee Phillips at UM. Leik reported disturbances at his home while vacationing, linking Collins to the case. Leik’s dog was cared for by Collins.

Dallas businessman shot dead after eviction ruling
