Amistad Accident Leaves Three Hurt
An Ozona couple James Wilkins and Helen Wilkins and their son Steven were injured when their 19 foot boat struck an underwater obstruction on Lake Amistad. The family drifted for 30 minutes before being rescued. Mrs Wilkins and Steven remained hospitalized in San Angelo in satisfactory condition. The boat sustained heavy damage with the starboard bow caved in. investigators found no sign of the object.
