Kakegon River Tragedy Claims Local Man Drowning
Thomas Keshketoz 26 of L'Anse Michigan drowned after a duck hunting trip in Kakagon sloughs. His brother William escaped an overturned boat and recovered the body Tuesday, funeral held at the Methodist church and burial in the Protestant Cemetery. He had moved to the village last fall with a wife who died earlier this winter.
