The Vaudeville by LaMore and Rozelle at the Crystal is of high class with packed houses. LaMore is a finished actor and Rozelle has one of the best voices heard at that playhouse. a return engagement would again attract a full house.
A Wednesday evening crowd packed the Loyal Theatre despite rain to enjoy Broeker's Orchestra of Ashland playing fine music. The enthusiastic attendees, many arriving despite the wet weather, filled the venue for a lively night of dancing.

S. D. Denomie of this village died after an accident near Ashland while attempting to board an ore train. He was found beside the tracks after midnight and died en route to the hospital. He leaves a wife and one daughter.
