Flambeau Indian School beats Odanah by 38 to 31 in a tight Monday night game. The first half ended 17 to 13 in favor of Sanah, but Odanah surged in the second half to pull away 21 to 18. Fans anticipate another meeting in a later final.
The town awaits new telephone lines and a city signal system as frost ends. L Soon plans to resume work within two weeks with Odanah Telephone and Power Co providing upgrades to aid police and general services. Local support grows as residents join the effort and Catholic Aid Society hosts meeting at Mrs Newagon’s home.

Proceedings occur before a judge chosen from several lawyers. a federal prisoner serves as judge. A small fine may be levied to fund papers for the week. Mn Jasebh Wienanda of Odanah died at her Birchwood home after a long tuberculosis siege. She was a lifelong respected local resident, survived by a husband and several children. Funeral held at the Catholic church with interment in the Catholic cemetery. Bernard Hoppen gan in charge.
President Wilson nominates Houston B. Teehee of Tahlequah Oklahoma to be register of the treasury succeeding Gabe Parker who recently became commissioner of the five civilized tribes. The nomination comes as government post rotation continues.
