The Modern Woodmen will present a large minstrel show in February at the Loyal Theatre under director J. C. McElrone. A cast of about thirty will perform with rehearsals underway, continuing their annual, eagerly awaited community entertainment.
A man in Assinins Michigan declares he will not be responsible for his wife’s bills after she left him last May. He denies misdeeds, claims innocence, and says he is willing to prove it in court. The notice warns residents of Anah and vicinity about his position on financial responsibility.

A Department of the Interior action creates a three person commission plus a five member old committee to hear enrollment appeals at Bad River Reservation. Miss Bessie Harto visited her mother Mrs John Harto sr at St Josephs hospital Tuesday. Mrs Harto is doing nicely and this will be good news to her friends in the village.
The Braves baseball club of this town signs a large roster of reputed players under Manager Starr. With professional coaching they plan to tour the country next season and compete with independent or minor league teams. Odanah aims to put the village on the baseball map with its strongest Indian lineup yet.
