Rukes Arrives at Rosedale Agency as Assistant Farmer
Charles I. Rukes of Rosedale Indiana arrived in the village this week to assume the duties of assistant farmer under A L Dean. This is his first service position after moving from Indiana and he will be trained by Agents P S Everest and A L Dean. He plans to relocate his family soon as he settles in.

Mary Shelafo Dies in Duluth of Heart Disease
Mary Shelafo of the village died in Duluth Minnesota last week from heart disease. The remains were brought home Saturday morning and interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery here.

Mellen Opens Eight Club Circuit League Forms
At a meeting in Mellen Wisconsin the Northwest Interstate League formed with by laws adopted and officers elected. The circuit includes McNen Odanah Park Falls Phillips Ironwood Hurley Bessemer and Wakefield with May 9 opening and Sept 26 closing a 21 game schedule.
