---—----wMrs. ELIZABETH F MOFFATA resident of Oshawa for 56 years, Elizabeth Frances Hamm, widow of David Moffatt, 208 Athol Street,east, died in the Oshawa General Hospital on Friday, April 8, following a short illness. She was in her 91sf year.Born in Cornwall, England, on September 17, 1864, the deceasedwas married at Orono, Ontario, in 1886. She was a member of King Street United Church and was formerly very active in the work of the Women’s Association of the church. She was also a life member of the Women's Missionary Society.Predeceased by her husband on March 6, 1985, she leaves to mourn her passing two daughters, Mrs. H. | D. Murray (Edna) and Mrs. E. J. j Wadsworth (Leta) of Oshawa and two sons, Meredith H. Moffatt of Oshawa and Orme S. Moffatt of, Toronto.Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Blewett of Orono, Mrs. Arthur Thompson Oshawa and Mrs, Milton Wright of'Bethany f two j brothers Ernest J. Hamm of Orono J and Harold W. Hamm of Bowman-ville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.The memorial service was held at the Armstrong Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 11, conducted by Rev. M. A. Bury, minister of King Street United Church. Interment in the Oshawa Union Cemetery.
