The W C T U met for the first time since fall adjournment due to cold weather. Hawley Short's bicycle act entertains students at noon and recess. H O Walter was seen on the streets. A Thursday prayer meeting drew a lively crowd. Mrs Wayne Stanley came from Sargent. Jacob Scheidagger and Claus Wilander travelled to Oakes. Carl Hample hosts Minneapolis visitors. Services resume Sunday at 3 PM at the schoolhouse.

Snow storms have visibly changed farmers' appearances. J McPhail's daughter remains ill with bronchitis. George Burroughs' baby is dangerously ill with lung trouble. Oscar Bint plans farming this year after returning from Minnesota. W H Thompson arrived from Rodney Ohio with his daughter and brother, reporting a wet winter and blooming fruit trees. The local photographer of Oakes offers warranted work.
