A long list of local political maneuvers and notices from Digkey Gonne Ry outlines a July 1840 delegate convention at Court House Hall Nitumlale for twelve delegates to the state convention in Grand Works on July 29 1890. It names caucus timing precincts counties and committee figures and notes other regional political activity and public notices.
A Republican convention for North Dakota will be held in Grand Forks or Tuendy on July 29, 1800 at 2 p.m. to nominate candidates for congress and state offices. Representation: one delegate per organized county plus one added delegate for each 100 votes or major fraction cast for Hansbrough in the last general election. Counties entitled to representation follow.
On the Sioux Falls and Onawa branches of the Illinois Central Railroad several towns are springing up in northwestern Iowa's prime agricultural county.
