Arbor Day Proclamation in North Dakota 1890

The governor of North Dakota proclaims Tuesday May 6, 1590 as Arbor Day urging citizens to plant trees shrubs and vines on homes public grounds and along the Ligaway. Schools are urged to devote the day to planting trees and to educate youth on tree cultivation care and preservation. Given under the Great Seal April 19, 1890.
