Six and a half foot black snake found on boxcar axle
A six and a half foot black snake, five and a half inches around the largest part, was found coiled around a Baltimore and Ohio Western boxcar axle in Jeffersonville Indiana yards. Seen earlier in Cincinnati by Conductor Cole the reptile slipped into a hole near the wheel and vanished. The creature rode 120 miles from Cincinnati to Jeffersonville without seeming disturbed.
