Miss Ada McGuffin returns home to Park Ridge tonight as others travel or visit. Residents and visitors are named with moves, visits, and trips across Illinois and nearby states while North Park avenue work and a luncheon mark town activity.

Johnny Robnett a colored porter at Steve Lavengood's barber shop 146 Lake street Oak Park was struck and killed by a fast train at Maywood Tuesday afternoon at 5 20 o clock. His eyesight was defective and he did not see the approaching train though gates were down and bell sounded. He was 20 from Columbia Missouri and had worked for Lavengood only a few weeks formerly lived in Maywood for several months.

Paul Rooke and wife plan a sea voyage to Europe, as does Frank Lippien and wife. Anna Schaber, child of Joseph Schaber, is very ill with pneumonia on Thomas street. The Harlem M club sponsors a Brow Brae Park excursion and basket picnic on the Des Plaines River Thursday July 1, tickets 50 cents. The Girls' Club hosts a Garfield Park picnic this Saturday afternoon. A village board meeting will hear a petition to lay sewer mains in Burkhart court and Warren avenue.
Miss Elizabeth Strom wed Mr Alfred William Kempa of Oak Park in a refined ceremony at the Strom home 6811 Midway Park. Rev S M Johnson officiated as Bluestocking decor and lilies of the valley complemented pink decor. The couple will reside in Lombard with Kempe joining Strom Manufacturing Co.
